What age is this site built for?
Our content covers families with kids of all ages — from infants and toddlers to teens. Each destination guide, itinerary, and tip is tagged with age-appropriate recommendations so you can quickly find what works for your family.
Do you only cover US destinations?
Not at all. We cover 200+ destinations across six continents. US domestic road trips and national parks are our most popular section, but we have extensive guides for Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and Asia.
Trip Packages
What’s included in a curated trip package?
Most packages bundle lodging, ground transportation, key activities, and a detailed daily itinerary. Flights are typically not included (we can help you book them separately at matching dates for best family flexibility). Every package lists exactly what’s included and excluded on its detail page.
Can I customize a trip package?
Yes. Every curated package can be adjusted for travel dates, group size, dietary needs, and accommodation preferences. Email our planning team at plan@familyvacationtravels.com after booking and we’ll tailor it.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend 4–6 months ahead for domestic trips and 6–12 months for international or peak-season travel. National parks especially require early planning — some in-park lodges book out 12 months in advance.
Digital Products
How do I access the planners I purchased?
After checkout, you’ll receive an email with a direct download link. Products are PDF files optimized for both printing and digital use. If you don’t see the email within 10 minutes, check your spam folder, then contact us at support@familyvacationtravels.com.
Can I get a refund if the planner doesn’t work for me?
Yes. See our Refund Policy for full details — we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all digital products.

Is the newsletter really free?
Yes. Our weekly Sunday newsletter is completely free and always will be. You’ll also get a free copy of our Family Trip Starter Guide when you subscribe.
What does a premium membership unlock?
Premium members access the full library of digital planners and guides, our private trip-planning community, discounts on curated packages, and monthly live Q&A calls with our planning team.

Do you accept press trips or sponsored content?
We do selectively, and only with tourism boards and operators that align with our family-first standards. All sponsored content is clearly disclosed. Reach out at partners@familyvacationtravels.com.
Do you have an affiliate program?
